Classroom workflow guide
Connect reading evidence to student writing
Students can select eligible annotations for a response, review their page context, and keep drafting while autosave protects work.
Keep evidence selection explicit
Students choose which eligible highlights, vocabulary notes, questions, evidence marks, or sticky notes belong in the response. Selection status is stored separately and can be changed later.
Preserve writing during interruptions
Typed responses use versioned autosave, bounded retries, and reload-safe draft recovery. Conflicts preserve the student's newer local text instead of silently overwriting it.
Use reports as descriptive signals
Teacher reports can show whether a response or selected evidence is present, but they do not expose private response text in the summary report and do not assign an automated score.
